It's been weeks tracking high with it being the only super hero movie opening but the movie ended up even opening LOWER than BIRDS OF PREY which was a disappointing result as well at 33M Many are expecting the fan front loading with an expected drop on Saturday and some are wondering if the delta variant is scaring away viewers or if the property is not as strong as once thought despite a strong 100+ million opening for the original Suicide Squad that was much more hated by critics. He's the principal at Colleyville Heritage High School for 2 years and got an email from the district about a beachside photoshoot he took with his wife, Kerrie for their anniversary... He said "I look at the picture, and i look at the words above it and it says, is this the Dr. Whitfield we want leading our school? I showed it to my wife, who immediately begins to well up with tears" He said the photos received complaints back then because it featured an interracial couple He ended up removing them but went public with the story after a heated meeting with the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District and parents over race Some parents accused him of pushing critical race theory and programs that ensured equality and diversity of which they say is harmful and is itself racist on white people But he shot back and said "I am not the CRT Boogeyman. I am the first African American to assume the role of Principal at my current school. For the better part of last year, i've been told repetedly to just get around the fact that there are some racist pople and just deal with it and stay positive but i will not stay silent no longer" The district did not address this meeting but to say they asked to remove it to provide a smooth transition and said some of the poses they shot were questionable as an educator and was too SEXUAL in nature. He said that "extreme stress" caused him to have an isolated episode of mania with psychotic features in the classroom when he went postal on a male teen for some reason before kneeing him in his balls He said he was trying to make a point about "mental health" and the need for people to be kinder to one another for their actions He has a brief court appearance on Aug 16 and said that he does not know how the surrender of his teaching license or his mental health will affect the case as he faces 3 misdemeanor criminal charges of battery. The reality star said she and her children got infected likely during a trip to the Dominican Republic as she was tested regularly while filming the show and tested negative both on the trip and returning But after returning to the US she tested positive as well as her co-host on her podcast Vee Rivera She expressed REGRET for EXPOSING people despite her negative results and said "I just felt bad, we were on vacation. I obviously would not have been around people if i knew i had covid, but i tested negative twice" Fortunately her kids are asymptomatic as her son, Lincoln is with her ex husband and his stay with his father when he tested negative But Lincoln ended testing positive after feeling a little sick and then infected his FATHER and his family as well!! She said it was only after her son, Curt became seriously ill and then she and her daughter caught the virus who now realize the importance of getting the vaccine He died in early May, 2 months after being diagnosed with COVID-19 and spent his last weeks on a ventilator She said "It took watching my son die and me suffering the effects of Covid for us to realize we need the vaccine. We did not get vaccinatd when we had the opportunity and regret that so much now. It took years to create other vaccines and the coronavirus vaccine was created very quickly. That made us very nervous" Curt was a young and otherwise healthy man who got the virus and then his mother and younger sister got it back in March. They initially had ild symptoms and appeared to be getting better but a week later, both the mom and her son's oxygen levels dropped and were rushed to hospital after developing penumonia and Curt was put on a ventilator where his lung also collapsed that led to his organs shutting down. Her son's last haunting towards to her on his death bed was "This is not a hoax, this is real" Cases are on the rise in Alabama where it had one of the lowest vaccination rates as well with just 33.9% being fully vacinated.
